Chellis likes visiting schools and has read to hundreds of elementary school children. She is a strong advocate for books and reading,
and is concerned about the continued problems of teasing. Her school visits usually include working with teachers,counselors and principals.
Children's groups: *Schools, Scouts, Boys and Girls Clubs, Camp Fire Girls, churches, etc.
-reading parts of the story -discussing teasing and bullying with the understanding that she is NOT an expert
-talking about name changing and how special each individual name is
-talking about and encouraging children to read and use their school or local library.
Adult organizations: service and fraternal clubs, PTA groups, educational conferences, bookstore and library readings, AARP,
and loves Book signings.

2. reading some of the story (the entire story takes 45 minutes to read outloud) 3. discussing teasing and bullying with the understanding that she is NOT an expert 4. offers books and CD's for purchase 5. "And You Do Your Own Laundry" - a talk about my career as Rhinestone Rosie, includes some songs and sing along.( 45 minutes, but can be customized)
*Chellis is available to do readings in schools, but this must be approved by the individual school district and/or local school. When possible,
she would like to have arrangements ahead of time to offer books for sale to the children (special discount available for quantity purchases).
